Originally from Switzerland, Robin kicked off his television career as an editor for highly acclaimed Betelgeuse Productions, working for programs such as Monday Night Football and Inside the Actors Studio. After working in the edit for over 4 years, he realized that he had to get out of the edit suite and use his passion for photography and become a shooter.
His experience as editor and photographer allowed Robin to immediately grasp what it takes to become a shooter, employing his keen eye for strong composition and storytelling, always keeping the editors in mind. He has since worked on reality shows, documentaries, soap operas, music videos, ENG's and commercials.
Based in New York City, Robin's list of clients includes CBS, CMT, MTV, VH1, TLC, TruTV and he is currently the DP on WE’s top rated show “My Fair Wedding” and Dr. Pepper's 'Ultimate Gaming House'. He continues to be a regular shooter on TLC's hit show 'American Chopper' and Food Networks 'Chopped'.
He also worked on video and photography projects in Kenya, Mozambique, Japan and Cuba and is gaining popularity as an avid outdoor and portrait photographer.
